About Movie: The inimitable Munnabhai and his funny sidekick Circuit are now headed to the United States in the third movie of the ‘Munnabhai’ series.
After taking on the medical system (in Munnabhai MBBS) and spreading the message of Gandhigiri (in Lage Raho Munnabhai ), Munna and Circuit are now going across the Atlantic.The idea to take the two characters into the US first arose when director Rajkumar Hirani saw Sanjay Dutt andArshad Warsi sitting together in a golf-cart in the US. The thought of two ‘bhais’ being transported to the US took Hirani’s fancy. When Dutt came to know about this idea, he liked it very much and asked Hirani to make a film on it. That is how Munnabhai Chale Amerikawas conceived.
Even though Hirani and writer Abhijat Joshi are still working on the script, the film’s producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Hirani have shot a small trailer of the movie.
